How RentHive uses AI
Draft for legal review. This version will be replaced after legal review, and you'll be asked to accept the final version.
What the AI does
- Drafts messages, notices and replies for a person to review.
- Summarises conversations, documents and maintenance requests.
- Reads photos and documents, such as receipts and inspection photos.
- Translates chat between languages.
- Suggests next steps, such as which repair quote to accept.
Limits we put on it
- Labelled: anything the AI writes for someone else to read is marked as AI-written.
- Approved: the AI never sends a legal notice, signs anything or spends money without a person's approval.
- In Australia: all AI processing happens in Australia, and AI providers don't keep your data or train on it.
- A person decides: decisions that significantly affect someone, such as choosing a renter, are made by a person, not the AI.
When the AI gets it wrong
AI output can be wrong. Check anything important before you rely on it, and tell us at hello@renthive.au if something looks off. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
